New Wine Dance Ministry

Mission Statement:

New Wine Dance Ministry exists to bring Glory and Honor to God through the creativity of the art of dance.  Our ministry serves to usher in the presence of the Lord so that many may be drawn closer to his Majesty, and experience the true and living God.

What to Expect:

The Dance Ministry meets one time a week.  Extra meetings and practices may take place when the Dance Ministry participates in a scheduled event.  The meetings include:

  • Prayer time
  • A Bible study with life applications that impact dancers’ techniques and form
  • Dance skills
  • Vocabulary terms

Training also includes the use of scarves, flags, and processional pieces.  Banners are also taught to enhance the worship dance unto the Lord.

Dance is a physical ministry and you must be prepared for active and hands on training and stretching.

Who can dance?

  1. Men and women
  2. All ages after 15 years (youth must have written parental approval )

What are the requirements?

  1. Must be a member of Vietnamese Baptist Church.
  2. Must voluntarily commit to the moral and ethical standards of Vietnamese Baptist Church.
  3. 1 Year Commitment & Consistency
  4. Acceptance of Responsibility that pertain to your position of the New Wine Dance Ministry.
  5. Realizations of the importance to both serve God and your church.
  6. Recognize the Call on your life “But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  For the Father seeketh such to worship him.  John 4: 23
